I remember Craig from so many years ago in college, where he and Debbie met. He was such a kind and gentle person and I remember thinking what a great couple they made. Sending you my love and hugs Debbie and to all your family. What a beautiful life you created together. <3

Dear Deb, Christopher, and Bryan,
The tournament is always a special weekend, and the fact that it was my annual chance to see Craig was a big reason why. A wonderful guy with a wonderful, loving family. And in all those years I never knew he was a fellow Cornellian! I'll miss him, and my heart goes out to the three of you.
Fondly,
-Andy Alpart

While I did not know Craig well, I remember him as a wonderful and fun person from times playing hockey together with other DEC folks and seeing him with Deb at some of the Union-Cornell hockey games. I just learned of his passing from Dave Nelson. Very sad to lose Craig so soon and my heart goes out to Deb and his family. I know he will be sorely missed. Rejoice in the wonderful times and lives you had together.

I feel very, very fortunate to have had the opportunity to share in my discovery of the great outdoors with Craig when we were eighteen and nineteen and the memories of the Apalachian, Smokies, NC coast and Eastern Shore trips are even more special now. Our last adventure 5 years ago, both donning sunglasses and hats without a care in the world, included kayaking upstream, bald eagles flying overhead and a lifelong friendship continuing. I can only imagine the wonderful times he was able to share with Debbie and the boys over 45+ years. I will miss my friend and love you all. Ted

Debbie ~ I have no words but I do have my everlasting memory of how you and Craig jumped into action the night I was struck by that hockey puck. Your quick thinking and large bag of M&M's were the perfect distraction for Hunter. He fondly remembers Craig's calmness around that whole event. We both hold you and your family in our prayers. ~ Marna and Hunter Posluszny

Craig's passing is a loss to many. As a defenseman he cleared out the crease and swept away the rebounds, on and off the ice. I already miss him very much.

Hi Deb and family,
So sorry for your loss of a great man. There is now a hollow place in my heart where my former boss, and friend, had a spot. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy some retirement activities following your retirement. Craig had interesting tales of your travels.

Debbie - I was so saddened when I heard about Craig. He was my favorite defense partner on the ice and one of the friendliest people I have ever met. I remember running into him at the Egg on my way into a concert with my son Ben 5 years ago. He came right up to us and started a conversation with my son, remembering his name from the two times he played Sunday night hockey with us. My son remembered exactly who Craig was when I told him what happened. Craig left a strong, lasting warm impression on us all.

Craig often played defense against me on our Sunday night hockey group. He made the night fun always. We would have a chuckle fighting in the corner for the puck. I will miss Craig on and off the ice. He was a real gentleman and friend.
