I have worked with Ed's son, Chris, for more than 30 years. I know Chris to be hard-working, honest, and loyal—and after first meeting Ed and Norma years ago, I realized the apple does not fall far from the tree. Both Ed and Norma impressed me as genuine and gracious people, and it was always a pleasure to visit with them when they came to North Carolina. I know Eddie will be missed by many for his giving nature, but his reunion with Norma will be a joyous one. In honor of his service to our country, our family has made a donation to the Leatherstockings Honor Flights program. Peace be with you.
