Obituary of Mary A. Gilbert

Schenectady- Mary Alice (Farrone-Potter) Gilbert departed to our Lord December 20, 2020. Mary was known for being the kindest, most loving parent and friend with a great sense of humor and compassion for all. She started her career in 1959 and was employed by the F.W. Woolworth Co. in downtown Schenectady, NY as department head. She was honored and awarded for her prompt, courteous and ambitious service. She was a graduate of Woestina High School. Mary is survived by her daughter Marilyn, son in-law Ashok, 3 grandsons, Udey, Nikhil and Ajay, 2 great grandsons, Liam and Aaron. She will be lovingly remembered and devoutly missed. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
