Dear Family,
I cannot make it to Susanna's service today, but wanted to add to the memories of a life well lived and loved. After meeting Susanna close to 40 years ago in her service as Volunteer Director for the Mental Health Unit at Ellis Hospital, and seeing her in action, I just knew what a classy and vibrant lady she was. She touched many and all were the better for that. She and her spirit will continue in the lives of your family and all her friends, of which I am grateful to be a one of. I'm sure God will have a role for her in Heaven!
Take care, Bob

Suzie, Emily, and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Susanna. I only knew her less than a year but she has left a lasting impression. I now know how to cook a lamb chop to perfection...even though I don't eat them myself! She liked things done her way but she was so gracious that you couldn't help but want to make sure everything was done that way. She loved hearing about my dog Hercules and his antics, always asked about my neice Morgan and her softball, and about how my step-daughter's wedding plans were going.
I watched more news with her than my entire life..lol...but she made it worthwhile. Hearing about her life and sharing experiences was a great honor. There were nights I didnt want to leave because we were having such wonderful conversations.
Susanna was a class act and I will miss her dearly.
