Dear Christopher and Gregory, Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your parents and your sister. I'm not sure if you remember the Beers family from Union St Christian church or not but I remember all of you in your younger years. There are many people whose lives your parents touched and who thought very highly of them. They were pillars in our church and I have nothing but happy memories of the 20+ years I spent there. My parents were married in that church and my great Uncle Joe and Aunt Mary Owens worshiped there for many years as well. Your Mother was beautiful, inside and out and always dressed " to the Nines". She excelled at many things, being a Mom, a hostess, great cook, servant of God and a wonderful human being. Your Dad also had a great personality,a great teacher in our Sunday school, obviously he was a really accomplished man and yet he was humble. I live in Chesapeake Va and it's amazing that your family spent so much time here in this beautiful area. I became an RN and lived in Albany, Ct and Virginia for the last 30 years.Your parents were blessed with long lives and I'm so happy for all of you. I just found some recipes your Mom gave to my Mom in her old church recipe box,. so many wonderful people that touched my life. My second husband retired 5 yrs ago as a Navy Capt where he served as a surgeon.I was a Navy wife for 25 years and am proud of all he's given to our country.I wish you and your families nothing but the best. I'm sure you're all fine people and I thank you for letting me briefly share my memories of your wonderful parents. Most Sincerely Judi Beers Snyder
