Dr. Mele was such a special, caring doctor. I was so happy to get to see him and talk to him at a dinner a few years ago. I will always remember him and his deep concern and expertise in treating my children. He was wonderful!

Dr. Mele was not only my pediatrician, he was that to so many people in our community. I remember the day I was told I was too old to see him anymore, and I was confused because I never knew things worked that way. I have so many childhood memories of him and his practice and may god accept those gifts of his healing powers, and accept him through the golden gates. God bless.

Dr. Mele took care of me when I was 4 years old up until I had three children. He took care of them and they had four children which he took care of. There will never be another doctor like him. I remember him coming to the house when I was 4 years old in the middle of the night to see the seizures I was having. He would sit and have coffee with mom and dad while waiting for me to have another one. I will never forget the caring person he was. All my condolences to his remaining family. You must be very proud of him. He was a wonderful man. The Muscanell/ Voris family. Thank you for everything dr.Mele

Dr Mele was an incredible doctor and I had the privilege of him being my doctor for the first 22 years of my life....I grew up in a single income family with 5 children....I remember my family having a “running tab” at Dr Mele’s office and my parents would pay what they could afford, and he would accept that with a smile. I also remember graduating from college and being sick with a cold....off I went to Dr Mele’s Office..As I sat in the exam room with the trains on the walls I knew he would make everything better. He did just that....there was a conversation afterwards with my Mother that kinda went like this: Marlene, it’s time she gets another doctor! Dr Mele...you were one of a kind!
