Miss Peterson was my favorite teacher ever. Two graduate degrees later and she is still the best teacher I ever had. Warm, friendly, caring and someone who remembered all her students forever. I had her for her last three years of Latin- she retired after my Junior year- and I missed her. She recognized me decades later when I ran a store in the area and had nothing but nice memories to share, she sent me a moving condolence card when my father died more than 30 years after our last class together. I hope she enjoyed her entire life and knew the positive effects that she had on so many students and those who knew her. My condolences to all who knew her and cared for her.
