Obituary of Roger F. Garner

Roger F. Garner of Daisy Lane passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was 75.

 

Born in Troy on July 3, 1943, son of the late Frederick and Angeline (Zucarillo) Garner.

Roger graduated from Troy High School and went on to serve in the US Navy in 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1969. He worked as a Kirby Vacuum Salesman until he went to All Brand Cleaners in Schenectady. He enjoyed spending time at local gun clubs. His family will remember him as a loving father and grandfather.

 

Survivors include his children, Jacqueline Rocca, Judy Purdy, Lisa Johnston, Angela Euller, Eve Euller, Roger Euller and Becky Euller, his former wife and best friend Deborah Garner, three grandchildren, Antonio, Jordan and Noah as well as his sisters, Joyce Revers and Pam Morini and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a brother Fred Garner.

 

Relatives and friends may call from 4-6:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 1503 Union Street, Schenectady. Committal will be at 11:30am on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Saratoga National Cemetery with military honors.
