I had the privilege of working with Bob during late 80’s when he consulted for the Navy Generator Eng. group under George Cotzas. He was extremely supportive and encouraged us to keep advancing generator technology. I learnt a lot from my interactions with him and from his ground breaking work in design and analysis so well documented in GE internal reports. May all find strength to bear his loss and his soul Rest In Peace. Manoj

Our family was saddened to hear of Mr. Winchester's passing. He was a kind man, a good neighbor, and friend of our family. We have fond childhood memories of cookouts at the Winchester house. Our prayers are with the Winchester family.
