What we remember about Jack is what a wonderful husband he was to my sweet cousin Eileen and father to his daughters. We were honored to have him as part of our family and know that heaven has a new angel. We love you all and will miss you Jack. God bless you all.

How could I ever forget about you! During my years of wrongful imprisonment, I had the privilege to work with you in the prison library. In prison no one really cares enough to listen to you, but you would always find the time to lend an ear and your heart. This, I am truly greatful and blessed for. You are a powerful and caring soul. Thank you for believing in me and my innocence.The world was blessed to have had you and will grieve your early loss. You are indeed the epitomy of the souls which the world is so desperately in need of.

I am deeply saddened to know that I will not again sing alongside Jack on this earth.He was a wonderful, gentle soul who did good work in his life. Over 20 plus years I mostly saw him at music venues like Old Songs and always looked forward to the creature comforts sing on Saturday nights. I have to confess that I missed more of those than I would have liked to in recent years and he rightly gave me a hard time about not showing up to sing a good labor song. Jack and I spent quite a bit of time together at the festival workshops, especially any of the labor and social justice songs workshops. The most memorable was the first time we heard the late Danny Spooner sign "Bring Out Your Banners". We talked to Danny together and Jack vowed to get the lyrics and music together so he could start singing it. Eventually he made it part of his repertoire that the Solidarity Singers adopted, too. That makes me smile. My sincere condolences to his family. His memory will live string in the songs that he song for so many!

Sad time on earth but happy time in heaven... Barbara Droms and the in laws made all the arrangements for Jack to be welcomed to heaven. Eileen and Paddie and Kathy all is well. He was a good man and took care of all of you. I consider myself lucky to have known him and your family. Sorry for your loss but he is still with you and watching over you...
