Obituary of Jason P. Austin

Jason P. Austin, 42, of Scotia Glenville was called to the Lord on August 10th, 2018.  Jason was born August 11th, 1975 in Niskayuna.  He was the son of Keith and Judith Austin.

Jason graduated from Schenectady Christian Schools, Geneva College in Pennsylvania and University of Dayton Law School, Ohio.

Jason was a staff attorney with the law firm of Boies, Schiller and Flexner LLP in Albany.  

Jason was predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Elsie Roberts and Willard Austin. He is survived by his grandmother Dorothy Austin.   Also survived by uncle and aunt, Carlton and Ardis Johnson III and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 16th at the First Presbyterian Church 209 Union Street, Schenectady.  Family and friends are invited to visit with Jason’s family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday August 15th at the Jones Funeral Home 1503 Union St. Schenectady.
