Obituary of David Wallace

Sadly, Dave left this earth Thursday, July 12th knowing he was unconditionally loved by his faithful wife, loving daughter, new son-in law, siblings and family, and most importantly by Jesus.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Laurie with whom he recently celebrated 35 years of marriage at both the Gideon Putnam and Otesaga Hotels, and his precious daughter

Hailey and son-in-law Ben. His siblings, Raymond and wife Cherie; Douglas and wife Sherry; and sister Janet. As well as, mother-in-law Helen Allen, sister-in-law Gail and

husband Art Mac, Goddaughter Lauren Goss, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved son Jonathan, father-in-law and extended family.

Together, Dave and Laurie ran their family store for over 24 years; where his professionalism earned him the respect of his sales representatives from both Empire Merchants North, and Southern Wine & Spirits of Upstate New York.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 24th at Jones Funeral Home,1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.),  Schenectady, with Pastor Mark Dunn officiating, (Pastor of First Presbyterian Church).  Calling hours will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home before the Service.
