Lorraine will live on in every kind deed or gesture done by anyone, anywhere. We are dismayed at her passing but take solace in knowing that she will remain ever-present in our collective memories.

I want to express my sadness over Lorraine's passing. Mrs.Silva was my nursery school teacher and fellow worshipper at the methodist church in Schenectady. I remember her fondly. She was always very kind and loving and most people don't remember their nursery school teachers so that says it all right there. I moved from Schenectady in 2nd grade and was actually home in NY this past weekend visiting when my family saw she had passed. I also just lost my grandfather last week as well so there is much sadness in my heart right now. All my love to the family and especially Christopher, he was in school with me.

Dan & family: It is with heartfelt sadness that we send our condolences. The Aquarius family has lost a very special lady and dear friend. Lyndsey & Lauren grew up knowing that Dan & Lorraine were our "next door neighbors" for so many years and Lorraine was always so good to them. A very generous, kind and loving woman whose presence will be greatly missed. You are all in our prayers. Please keep in touch. I wanted to express my sadness at the passing of Lorraine. A great many years ago, in 1979 or 1980, I was a student teacher under the direction of Lorraine at Trinity Methodist Nursery School. Lorraine was very kind to me and for about a year, I believe after I had completed my student teaching, we corresponded by letter. At that time, she was a great motherly mentor for me. I even remember going to her home on Lexington Pkwy for lunch one day. Now I am the age she was at that time and running my own family daycare. I was so sad to see the unexpected tragic loss of her son in '93. Please know she was a wonderful nursery school teacher; a wonderful mentor and a good friend.
